I applied to CBA for my daughter this year because something just told me this would be a great place for her to be, she is smart and kind and she deserves to be somewhere she can flourish.

We were so excited to find out she was accepted but due to a family emergency, we ended up missing the financial aid deadline for this year.

I called the school and was advised there was nothing that could be done once the deadline was missed. So I decided I needed to decline her seat because I just couldnt swing it financially and called the school to let them know. The woman I spoke with advised me that if she didn't attend this year, she would not be able to transfer in for 11th grade next year, and told me I had over the weekend to see if I could figure something out, and she would wait to decline the seat until then.

I took this as a sign from God that I shouldnt decline her seat, so here I am, doordashing, looking for a second and third job, just to make sure I can get her through this year!

I was able to set up 10 monthly payments for $1216 each month, it is going to be a struggle but it's what I have to do as her mother.

But I am not alone, and I have to realize that. I have God, I have the Universe, and I have you, friends and strangers who show up for people. So with my pride to the side, I'm praying people can show up for my daughter.

I could really use everyone's help getting her through this year, until I can apply for financial aid next year. Every penny will help and I thank you for every donation, every share, and every effort to help my baby!
