Hello, my name is Carina Blumenthal. I'm fundraising for my dad Christian Blumenthal. He passed February 6th in his truck from a heart attack in Washington State. We're trying to raise funds to get him home and give him a proper send off. He was a truck driver by occupation but a wanderer by heart. He loved traveling and experiencing new experiences. He loved food, science fiction movies, Stephen king, Godzilla, batman, the color green, kung fu movies and last but not least he loved his kids greatly. Originally from Connecticut, he moved to California to raise his kids in the sunshine. He was a people person and a collector of stories. He had his battles with mental health but he had a saying "Never get too tired, never get too sad, never get too hungry." With that he let me know he would always be there to talk about a hard day or a good day, about the triumphs and the losses, and would always be there for me.
