The Blum Family

Hi, my name is Aspen Kropidlowski. I am a Canisius University student, and I started GoFundMe to help out my professor, Christian Blum.

Christian Blum’s home tragically burned down yesterday. He is a fantastic professor who will continue to give to others before himself. Dr.Blum willingly helps his students and is always considerate of their circumstances. He is a caring, compassionate, good human who always sets an exceptional example for others. Professor Blum is a true leader.

The Blum’s have a large family of seven, including five children, who have also lost everything. I cannot imagine the devastation and impact that this tragedy has had on this family. Nothing of their home remains. Imagine coming home and finding absolutely nothing left. Even after this horrific evening, he attended school the following day to teach his students.

As this tragic event has impacted an endearing professor in our Canisius Community, let’s unite and come together to help support this family during this very difficult time. I’m hopeful that our City of Good Neighbors will show support for this amazing family. Please join me in raising money for Christian and his family.
