Christa's Cremation/Memorial Costs

This fundraiser is to help with the cremation costs of Christa Poteet White as well as costs of holding a memorial to honor her loving memory.  This is a surprise for her family, who are not able to afford the costs of cremation and a memorial.  Without the help of those who loved her and value having her respectfully laid to rest, Christa is in danger of being burried in an umarked grave.   

Christa was a bright, loving, joyous woman.  She had two children, both boys under the age of 7.   She touched many lives and brought joy into them.  She was a joker, with witty remarks and a ready smile.  She inspired deep love and devotion in those who knew her.

Christa was murdered on September 1st.  Her family has had to endure the agony of waiting while her body was autopsied and moved from place to place for all of the legalities.  They have enough on their plate with trying to find justice for her.  This fundraiser is to ease one of the heavier burdens they face as they try to make sense of this tragedy and move forward with their lives.

All funds will be used for the expense of cremation and a small memorial in honor of her life and how deeply she affected the lives of others.

Christa's family and friends are incredibly grateful for any donation (even a $1 helps!) and for any shares spreading the word.   Her family are not on Facebook, so we simply ask that the word be spread there, and not by word of mouth so that the surprise is not ruined.  It will mean so much to both family and friends to know Christa has been laid to rest and honored with a memorial.
