Memorial for Christa Lauder: Scholarship Fund for Quinn

We are setting up a memorial fund for our dear friend, Christa. Christa was tragically taken from us way too soon and there is a loss felt deeply in her community of friends and family. Christa was a bright light in our lives and she will be missed terribly.

Christa’s greatest pride and joy was being an aunt to her niece Quinn Lauder. Christa was a second mom to Quinn and beamed when talking about her. She always encouraged Quinn to be courageous and adventurous, through many shared experiences. They were able to swim with dolphins in the Bahamas, travel to Finland to visit the North Pole, and take a remote rustic vacation in British Columbia. Christa provided an introduction to horseback riding which has become one of Quinn’s passions. Even when Christa fell ill, she loved to watch Quinn at her equestrian shows and to hear the stories from her practices and events. Quinn brought Christa great joy.

Christa supported Quinn and all her activities and her goal was to nurture Quinn and enable her to pursue her future dreams. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Christa’s memorial fund to support the continuity of Quinn’s equestrian activities and her future education/scholarship.
