Chrissy's Road To Recovery!

Christine Schulz ...."Chrissy"

She has been through so much yet has managed to rise above and get through some of the toughest moments in her life. Chrissy has such a sweet spirit and a sensational love for her family, including her best friend and companion of 7 years "Azule". ( 250lb Neapolitan Mastiff ). Chrissy loved her dog Azule so much and they spent so much time together. Chrissy is a wonderful Mother, Daughter, Sister and Friend. She is always smiling, laughing and making the ones around her smile and laugh. She did not deserve to go through the horrific events that took place on Dec 20th.

Here is her story and the days leading up to what happened!

Chrissy had been looking at houses for the last 6 months. She was looking for a quiet place where she could have enough space and room for her and her best friend "Azule."

She found a house that had a shop connected to it. It was perfect for her plans to open an antique shop and the house was just right next to it. Then a couple weeks ago, after moving multiple truck hauls, she got a note on her door saying that the property was sold at auction. she couldn’t get ahold of her landlord any more because she found out he wasn’t actually the landlord and didn’t own any of the property.

Faced with losing everything, she still tried to stay positive.

She talked with me and her brother at my house one night and then she was worried about getting back her to baby Azule at home.

The next evening around 11:00 pm I received a phone call from a woman who said, "I live behind your daughter and want to let you know that she is on her way to the hospital, she was attacked by her dog!" "She was able to let E.M.S know that she had fallen and he attacked her". I could not believe that this was happening. Azule was Chrissy’s person and always was obedient to her.

My beautiful daughter was mauled by her dog! He attacked her and she fought for her life, finally able to get away she made it to the nearest neighbor but no one answered the door. She lay on the ground outside for quite a while before the neighbor found her. She was bit on her face and her head and had over 50 cuts and deep wounds on her arms and neck. Azule was put down and we later found out that he was sick with a brain tumor and this is was caused him to be so aggressive towards her. She will have to undergo numerous surgeries and we are needing all the help we can get to be able to pay for upcoming surgeries and help her with relocating to a new home! Please pray for her grief of losing her best friend Azule, while also recovering fast and easy. We want to thank all of you for your prayers and support during
