Chrissy (ie) Welty

Hi everyone my name is Tracey, I am George's sister-in-law. Our family is reaching out to ask for help during this difficult time.

As many of you are aware Chrissy was out with her young son on 8/14/2023 and suffered a massive heart attack. Chrissy did not survive. The Welty family has had a difficult past two years with George and Chrissy holding on to each other to endure the ride, during that time they still reached out and helped the community and touched the lives of many. In case you did not know in addition to being a partner in Brix, helping local sports teams and donating time at the local food pantry Chrissy helped an organization that helped to change the lives of many recovered human trafficked youth ages 12-18. We all know however that she could be a force to be reckoned with! She was stubborn, spicy, and had a mouth that could make a sailor blush but with that same energy, she was loving, caring and had a huge heart.

We are seeking financial assistance for funeral and cremation services as she did not have insurance or life insurance at the time of her death. While George is adapting to his prosthetic leg he is unable to work at this time.

Chrissy leaves behind a loving husband, her beloved son Connor, and her disabled brother-in-law. Numerous extended family members and the Crew at Brix in the Stix! (APE lol the stories she told!)

She will be greatly missed.

Chrissie's final arrangements have been made, there will be a viewing at Connellys Funeral Home of Essex on Tuesday from 6-8 pm this is due to her wishes to be cremated. We greatly appreciate all of the support everyone has shown and we hope that everyone continues to share so that we can help relieve some of the financial burden on George.
