Chrissy Cares didn’t appear out of nowhere. It is the result of decades of work, business experience, and lived reality gradually pointing in the same direction. My life has been shaped by significant hardship and by the responsibility of learning to stand on my own. Over time I’ve built businesses, raised a family, solved problems, and supported people in many different ways. I was already doing pieces of this work long before it had a name. It took everything being stripped back for me to see clearly how those experiences fit together. Chrissy Cares is the outcome of that clarity, using what I know and what I’ve lived through to respond to what people are genuinely asking for.

For a substantial stretch of my life, circumstances outside my control forced me to stop and focus entirely on survival, safety, stability, and recovery. That interruption was profound. It meant stepping away from work I had invested deeply in and rebuilding from the ground up. While I’m not sharing every detail here, the impact was real and reshaped the direction of my life and work.

Today I’m moving forward with Chrissy Cares as the direction my work is meant to take. This is ongoing work that will continue to grow and evolve alongside the needs of the people it serves. Bringing it to life in a solid, workable way requires putting the essential structure in place to operate day to day. This fundraiser covers the real startup costs, including equipment, platform setup, and the tools needed to deliver sessions and ongoing support reliably.

The work itself is already underway. Support directly contributes to building the foundation needed to move from planning into full operation, allowing decades of experience to be put back into service while establishing a sustainable business that can continue to grow.
