"A Texas Miracle"
-We need your help!-
In March of 2015, Chris was diagnosed with Glioblastoma multiform, stage 4. He had an 8 ½ hour surgery, the day after his diagnosis, to remove a large tumor from his brain. Glioblastoma is rarely cured; and even with the best of treatment, a patient usually has a life span of 12-22 months. After a year of great health, unfortunately there is new tumor growing. Each day, Chris shows an immense amount of courage in facing his on-going battle with cancer. His current diagnosis from Kaiser Permanente is less than 6 months to live.
With his strong-willed temperament and his "I will beat this" attitude, Chris has vowed to fight on. With no further options for treatment here, an alternative cancer treatment facility has been located for Chris. This is not a fly-by-night operation or a take your money and run situation. Chris will be escorted by a family each month to The Burzynski Clinic in Houston, Texas.
Unfortunately this treatment is not covered by insurance and costs about $7500.00 per month. If you are able to help us defray any of these costs it would be greatly appreciated. To those of you who have already donated either money or prayers we offer you our deepest gratitude.
