Chris’s road to recovery after motorcycle accident
Donation protected
***UPDATE***
Chris is it at his home in Tulsa and on his long road to recovery. We have an appointment at a hyperbaric chamber on Thursday where we hope the oxygen-rich environment will help his skin heal quicker.

When the bones on his lower leg broke through the skin it caused a great deal of damage to the skin and it’s not healing as quickly as the surgeons would like, if the skin doesn’t heal, the bones won’t either. We are looking into hyperbaric healing to see if the process can be moved along quicker and allow Chris to keep his leg below the knee. Your generous donations are allowing us to continue with the medical help he needs. Thank you to all who have donated.
On February 9, 2024, my son’s life was changed forever when a pick-up truck pulled out in front of him while on his motorcycle. The 21 year old woman was texting when she pulled out in front of Chris and hit him on the right side of his motorcycle, throwing him into oncoming traffic. Luckily a witness pulled him to safety. She presented the police officer with what we thought was a valid insurance card. However she stopped paying for her insurance last November and it was cancelled December 31, 2023. Chris’s right leg suffered multiple injuries, including a compound tibia and fibula fracture, his foot almost severed, at the ankle, leg almost severed at the knee, kneecap shattered and his pelvis broken, and ultimately needed four transfusions through two difficult surgeries. A big thank you to the vascular and orthopedic surgeons at Ascension St. John’s in Tulsa, OK, as well as all of the first responders and ICU nurses who helped to save his life.
Chris is now looking at hefty medical bills and months of lost work. We are seeking funds to help him along his long road to recovery. Thank you for your time and attention, any help would be very appreciated.
