Most of you know the story of how I met Chris and Coco.

they showed up several years ago, outside of my shop - I saw them sleeping out under the awning and ordered some breakfast for him. When it arrived I went out and introduced myself and let him know I had the shop and that he was welcome there and I’d be happy to help with what I could.

Chris and Coco and I became fast friends. He ended up living outside for over a year, getting to know our community who adopted him & his sweet little dog as one of our own.

Eventually a very kind neighbor took them in, where Chris was able to have a roof over his head. Unfortunately, as part of the stabilization and settling down process, Chris was diagnosed with a long list of ailments that were exacerbated by a violent attack last year where a bar patron came across Chris and Coco sitting outside and the man unleashed his dog on them which seriously injured Chris. He never had time to recover properly and succumbed to his illness early this morning.

we are raising funds to cover Chris’ cremation and eventual planting into trees around the area
