Chris's Care Medical Fund

This is my husband Chris Lapidus.
Our lives changed forever when he went into cardiac arrest on 3/ 7/2021.
A great provider, husband and father to our four children and two nieces, a family man who loves the Lord, closed his eyes and stopped breathing while we were watching TV that night.
Not breathing, NO pulse....
I quickly reacted by calling 911 , getting him to the floor and beginning CPR until the EMT's arrived. He was dead 10 minutes E MTs finally got a weak pulse.. They Rushed him by ambulance to the ER , then sent to OR, then ICU for over a week.,till he became conscious and the breathing tube is removed.
Due to the amount of time Chris was w/o oxygen to his brain, he suffered brain damage , severe memory loss and is trying to recover his motor skills and speech.
The Dr.'s unfortunately say my husband needs 24 hr care and supervision. Our insurance does NOT cover home health care to come home and help. Making me feel that this was a unsafe discharge. I cant afford these services and need help.
My husband will not be able to return to work and I have been out of work at his bedside since this traumatic day happened. I am my husbands 24 hr. Caregiver now with no respite.
Also the day Chris was discharged our AC broke down in our home making it incredibly HOT, causing another financial burden by calling a repair man.
Chris's Care Medical Fund is just what it says it is ..it will be used to help pay for his 24 hr. Care, medical exspenses, along with helping with our mortgage so our home doesn't go into foreclosure.
Cards for Chris are also appreciated as it will help with his rehab and spirit. You can Pm me or Facebook me for address.
Thank you all for your prayers, cards and help during this difficult time.
