Little Ayden Jalali lost his daddy Chris early Monday morning (10/6/14) when he died for no apparent reason in his sleep. Chris went to sleep healthy and feeling great even though had been in a jaw-breaking car wreck a while back and was well into recovering from a surgery to fix his broken jaw when he suddnely and unexpectedly went to be with his his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Chris was a survivor and a champion. He faced stage-3 liver cancer that had been growing undiagnosed in his body since he was a teen, loss of his job and being rejected by the person he was closets too all at the same time. Chris went from a cover-model example of fitness to a near-death 123 pound skeleton of a man, but he held on. He never felt sorry for himself but only hoped he would live to be a good dad for his very young boy. Thankfully, Chris recieved a liver transplant even though his liver was so bad it was declared "in-operatable" by his surgeons. If the surgeons would have known how far gone the liver was he wouldn't have even been a candidate for and wouldn't have gotten this miraculous new liver. Chris' motivation to stay alive has always been just to be there for Ayden. He was one of the few people in life who lived to give to others and was unthinkably kind, giving and unselfish to all of us. Here's a chance for us all to show Ayden how great his daddy was by giving back. Funds raised will be held in trust for Ayden's adulthood to provide for his education, help buying a home and other things Chris faught so hard to be able to give him. Even if its just a dollar, everone can contribute something to show little Ayden how much of an impact Chris had on our lives as an friend, trainer, family member, or ispiration in general. Please consider giving something today.
