Chris was kind-hearted, selfless, funny, and a nerd at heart. He always thought of others before himself. He was an amazing and attentive husband. He was a wonderful father to our son Max. He absolutely adored him. He always got the best smiles from him.
The day before he died, he came to my work unannounced and put a few thoughtful gifts in my car. Not for any special occassion, just because. Up until his last hour, the love and care for his son was immense. Before I left for work yesterday, he came out to the car to kiss him. He said that he just wanted to make sure his son was okay.
I am so sad. He didn't deserve this. To say he was a great person is a far understatement. He made a positive impact on everyone that he knew. Max and I will miss him dearly. We love you."
