Hey guys, as many of you know, Christopher was recently diagnosed with a rare form of cancer, peritoneal mesothelioma (epithelioid subtype). There are only about 300 cases per year in the US.
Christopher is staying very positive throughout this and he is gearing up for an aggressive combination of surgical debulking and chemotherapy.
Obviously this is a very difficult time for both him and Nicole. They just got engaged in January and are in the midst of planning a fall wedding. On top of this, Christopher is interviewing for an Interventional Radiology fellowship and studying for the Radiology core exam this summer.

Of course as Christopher starts and continues his treatment, he will have many medical bills starting to pile up as well as unpaid lost work days.
I know many of us have had the pleasure of working alongside Christopher these past few years at OSU and I am hoping that we can all come together to support him in this very difficult time, as we know he would do the same for each of us.
