If you have lived in the Temecula Valley over the past 25 years there is a good chance that you know Chris Cusack - not just met him, but you know him.

As the city of Temecula has grown exponentially over that timeframe, Chris has been at the center of the change, brightening people's days with his razor sharp witty nature and gregarious, contagious laugh.

Chris's personal life has prospered with the city, meeting his beautiful and devoted wife, Kelly, in that time as they now bring up their precocious son Finn.

Professionally, Chris has built upon his talents and hard work and has risen through the ranks of the hospitality industry leading up to achieving his dream of opening up his own restaurant, Luke's on Front, right in the heart of Old Town.

In the short time that the restaurant has been operating, Chris showed what all of us who knew him had already figured out - the Big Guy's nature is as good as it is giving. Those around him saw Chris quickly embrace the role of being in a position to help those in need and, again, none of us that knew him were the slightest bit surprised.

Just as his lifelong dream has begun to fully take flight, however, a personal health emergency has struck and Chris's entire future is uncertain.

Not just the future of his business is in peril, but this most popular 46 year old's health is suddenly at stake.

This dedicated husband and father of a small child has been hospitalized for over a week now and, while the good days are hopefully to be soon out numbering the bad ones on his way to recovery, the medical bills are exceeding all financial avenues that are available.
