“Life isn’t about waiting for the storm to pass. It’s about learning to dance in the rain.” This is a lesson we learned from our son Christopher Adam Bell whose favorite saying was hakuna matata (no worries).
Chris was a free-spirit who lived in the present, and on his terms. He was a leader. He had followers. He could enter a room and brighten it with his smile, his attitude, or just his presence. He had "it."
Chris made friends so easily and was true to each and every one of them. He supported them, guided them and made them happy. He made us happy.
We stand here today with broken hearts. The loss of a child is something we were not prepared for as no parent should have to bury their son. We are not ready to say goodbye. We will never be ready. He had so many dreams and so many plans for the future. He would have made these dreams come true.
He loved to travel, he loved his fraternity (SAE), and he loved his friends and family. He was a firefighter. He graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) and worked at Price Waterhouse (PWC). He temporarily moved from Richmond, VA to Melbourne, Australia.
His employer, PWC, setup a nice website to see Chris' stories and things he did in life:
www.rememberchris.com.au
His linkedin profile is here:

His father and mother, along with SAE and PWC, are creating a scholarship fund to carry on Christopher's name. In the coming months, we will work to make this happen. Please donate to help us create this scholarship fund.
