~Christopher's family help through battling Pancreatic Cancer~
As a mother, the words no mother ever wants to hear is your child has cancer. My world became ripped apart as, my son Christopher 45 has been diagnosed with stage 4 Pancreatic Cancer this past month. While our hearts are broken and we are dealing with all that this horrible disease takes from us. Chris is most concerned with his beautiful family. Christopher and Zera have been together for 15 plus years and their love created my two beautiful grandchildren, Kira 6 and Mara 2. Chris just moved his family into a beautiful little home where they were preparing to live happily together. Chris has always been a hard worker and supporter of his family. He has worked in the Salmon Pens in Machiasport until just recently when his health deteriorated . Zera works at Subway, but because of Chris’s illness it is hard for her to leave her husband and very active children right now. Dealing with his diagnoses is hard enough, but literally no money coming in is even harder. This is a constant worry for Chris, as his family always comes before himself. Christopher is getting Chemotherapy through Brewer’s Cancer Care. As a family we are ready to take this CANCER on and WILL WIN! We remain strong for each other, and mostly my beautiful son. While this is devastation to our family, we will never give up HOPE and this has made us all even closer as a family. While each of us is giving what we can, traveling back and forth each week to Brewer is an added expense to everyday expenses, as well as rent, daily bills and groceries. Chris has tried to return to work, but because of the chemo and the harshness on his body this truly is not doable and per Doctors orders he is not able to. While none of us know what the future holds for each of us, we are prepared to stay STRONG, LOVE ONE ANOTHER and HELP IN ANYWAY WE CAN!!!! ! If you can possibly help we would truly appreciate any donations, no amount is to small… and if you can only offer PRAYERS we appreciate that also, MORE than you will ever know.
