Chris was unexpectedly diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic breast cancer which has now spread to her lungs, liver, and all bones.
Treatment has incurred many unexpected costs not covered by insurance. She is still dealing with relocation costs from her move from Georgia to the Chicago area after getting a second opinion along with other financial concerns, such as high out of pocket costs, which are over whelming. While she is currently still able to work full time, her income does not begin to touch the medical bills.
Meanwhile, the bills are piling up and the financial resources are almost depleted. The primary focus of anybody fighting any debilitating disease, such as cancer and alike, should be recovery and healing, but that’s difficult to do when you are burdened financially. Prayers and positive energy go along way, but reality is that she needs financial assistance as she hopefully beats the cancer and gets back on her feet, both literally and figuratively.
