Chris Wirtzberger's Family

I am starting this fundraiser to help Chris' family with any and all expenses they may need in light of this heartbreaking situation.

On Tuesday, August 9th, Chris was bitten by insects and suffered a severe allergic reaction. Unfortunately, an EPI pen was unavailable, and paramedics arrived too late. As a result, Chris' brain was deprived of oxygen for too long. Chris is now fighting for his life in the ICU with a severe anoxic brain injury. The doctors are doing everything they can for him, but it is now up to prayers and a miracle. The next 30 days are crucial in determining his future. Family and love surround Chris.

As many know, Chris' loving family is scattered across the US. His three sons, Logan, Alec, and Blake, are in need of help. Chris' family will be flying in and out of Altanta for the unforeseen future, but his sons will need all the help we can give them. With Chris being in a coma, there is a severe financial need. Medical bills are piling up, and insurance is an issue. During these next crucial weeks, there is also a need for transportation and living expenses for his family and his sons. We are asking for any and all help you can give these boys so they can be at their father's side. Time is of the essence, and having loved ones around Chris to talk to him and encourage him to pull out of this coma are essential to Chris and his family. Worrying about how to get to the hospital, food, living expenses, medical bills, or school should be the last thing these boys should worry about right now.
