I have created this page on behalf of/in support of the Wahab family.
On Saturday July 18, the family lost their beloved son, Christopher, as well as his wife Courtney, to a tragic accident.
Originally from New Orleans, Chris personified the energy and light of that city. As a youth, Chris excelled at soccer, even earning a spot on a collegiate roster. Though the turns of life set him on a different path, his joyful personality and "old soul" was not diminished. Chris faced the ups and downs of life with an attitude that lit up his corner of the world. To know Chris was to be touched by this light and I know his friends and family glow a bit brighter for having been loved by him.
I have known the Wahab family nearly my entire life. I remember Chris goofy and happy, dancing, playing video games, being the tall kid on the soccer field, being a loving uncle, and smiling. I never saw him without a smile.
I'd like to take the burden off of Penny, Zach, and Nich and help raise the funds to cover expenses related to the funeral/memorial services. We know they would never ask and they shouldn't have to.
If you cannot contribute monetarily, please share a memory or a picture. These moments will certainly help where money cannot.
