Hello Family and Friends, it is with heavy hearts that we announce the tragic passing of Christopher Turner, from an unexpected accident while surfing on Monday, January 17th, 2022.

 

 

A beloved husband to Kelly, a devoted Father to Christian, Hillary, and Matthew, a charming uncle and a brother to his three siblings. 

Chris was a man known and loved by all in his community. 

 

Chris, at age 54, was taken from us all far too early. 

Chris is lived on by the love of his life Kelly, whose marriage of 35 years was spent every day with love and adventure. 

He raised his family in a beach house in Carlsbad, CA, where he spent his days working hard to provide his family with the best possible life. 

His dedication to his family’s success was unparalleled, and he can move on knowing that his three children were raised to be respectful, loyal, and hardworking, just like himself. 

He was our biggest role model for life, the best father and most loving husband a family could ask for.

Chris’s service to his community was not limited to his family but could be seen by the endless amount of his children’s friends who spent most of their time at his home.

As a long-time local surfer in Carlsbad, California, he was known to make friends anywhere he decided to spend time in the water. As a man of the sea, he also had a passion for golf. In his last moments, Chris played golf with his two sons and then rode his last wave at sunset in Cardiff. 

 

The memory of Chris’s life will be lived on by his family, all of our friends, and through the thoughts and prayers of each and every one of us. 

All of the donations made will go to Chris’s family, not only to help memorialize him but for any unexpected obstacles that his passing may bring.
