1 surgery turns to 2 turns to a life changing 3 surgeries. After being released for 1.5 days. I had to call 911 and have a all new sternum installed after a collapsed lung and shredded sternum installed. This has resulted in a full month stay in either Emerge, ICU last stay was 10 days straight and now I'm fighting an infection, pneumonia and risk to the new heart. This has resulted in a 32 day stay in hospital so far and weeks to go. As a small business owner this has resulted in devastating loses. I'm alive and with some help from friends maybe just maybe I can salvage 30 years of my life and 5 years on my charity not for profit Jason's Quest. Anything helps $20 ad's up if everyone takes a second and things how long could I last if my life crumbled to pieces. I appreciate and have nothing but love and respect for all concerned and I completely understand if even the $20 is taxing.

If you can I appreciate anything and everything I have simply lost almost everything and I'm fighting everyday to salvage what is left so when I do get out of here I can get back to work and rebuild my life. Love and Respect as always Christopher S Tampin

Well as of August 25th I'll have a new Titanium Heart and will be in recovery for close to 6 months,  3 months will be intensive.  I live alone and don't plan on recovering anywhere else other than my home.
I think you have to be comfortable for recovery.

 

I can't Thank Tara and Everyone helping me at this time in my life. 6 months ago I went into complete heart failure it seems after 52 years we discovered I was born with a bicuspid heart valve that started failing and it severely damaged my heart and the Root leading to the valve this also resulted in clogging all arteries to the heart. Diet and medication has helped get the water away from my heart so they can now operate ....... 6 months later. If I don't have the surgery they give me less than a year to live. So a week from today I will be clinically dead for 8 hrs. as they rebuild with Titanium parts (Super Hero) I own and operate my own business and run and own a charity called Jason's Quest not knowing that this was happening I poured all my money and 3 years of my life into the Charity using up all my funds and just when I thought the program was ready to launch this happened and rendered me not able to work drive or function as a normal human being. I went from Triple A credit to the whole world hating me. Not being able to pay rent buy groceries and as of 2 weeks ago Kia a proud supporter of The Special Olympics repossessed my car. A dozen hospitals visits a month plus emergency visits along with medication and now Uber rides I'm out of money but hopefully not luck. My dignity has been shredded beyond anything I've ever dealt with before and I've applied for assistance over 5 months ago and just this week received we have your application and will make a decision in 45 to 90 days. I wake up every morning with a fighter mindset as I always have but the closer I get to surgery the more worried and concerned I am I will lose everything I've ever worked for, anything helps and it kills me to ask for any type of help.
