As some of you may know, our mom, Chris Balog, suffered a massive stroke on December 17th. Due to the extent of the stroke, she spent an entire month in the ICU undergoing many procedures and she has recently been transferred to a long-term care facility. Her road to recovery is going to be a long one, but our mom is a fighter and we know that with everyone’s support, she will get through this.

Our mom is an amazing mother to 5 children, a loving wife, and a friend to many. She is incredibly hardworking and always willing to lend a helping hand. She lights up every room she’s in and, if you know Chris, she’s likely left a lasting impression on you.

Our family’s hope with this fundraiser is to help relieve some of the medical expenses that will come from the extended stay in the ICU, the long-term acute care facility, and in the future, rehab.
