Chris Steele and Family

My name is Chris Steele I am married to Amanda and we have 3 children, Maggie,Chase and Addison. I was diagnosed with 4th stage Hodgkin’s Lymphoma in March. It was in my neck, chest,stomach and back. I’ve had six months of chemo so far. We did a pet scan at two months after we started chemo to see if it was working. It showed that the places in my chest and stomach were gone but the places in my neck and back were still there, so the Dr wanted me to do a stronger chemo for 4 more months then we did another pet scan at the end of those months. It showed the place on my neck was still there and then 3 more places showed up that were not there before which is not good because if they are cancer that means the cancer is progressing and at this point there should not be any new cancer cells, so this means I will have to remove the lymph node and then do radiation on that area. On the new spots they gave us 3 new options which at this time we don’t know which one they will do. I’ve been out of work since June and they told me that I won’t be able to go back for awhile because I will have a long road ahead of me if the cancer is progressing. Being out of work has been hard on me and my family but we keep trusting in God’s plan for us. We know He will get us through this! We are so thankful to all who have prayed and helped us along the way!
