Hi,
Together Chris & Sean are taking on one of the most iconic endurance challenges in the UK - cycling the length of Great Britain from Land's End to John o' Groats.
That's 980 miles across 12-14 days of non-stop riding, and neither of us has ever done anything like this before.
We're doing it for two causes that are deeply personal to both of us.
Men's Mental Health
Both Chris and Sean know what it feels like to hit rock bottom. We've been through our own struggles, felt the weight of low moments, and come out the other side - but we're acutely aware that not everyone does.
The statistics around male suicide are devastating, and we want to do our part to raise awareness, break the silence, and show that it's okay to talk.
Diabetes Scotland
Sean recently lost his dad to diabetes, a loss that's still very raw. This ride is partly in his honour. Diabetes Scotland supports the nearly 335,000 people in Scotland living with this serious condition, and every pound raised goes toward better care, research, and vital support for families like Sean's.
This challenge is going to push us to our physical and mental limits. It'll be uncomfortable, gruelling, and at times we'll want to quit.
But that's exactly the point, because every mile we ride represents someone who's still fighting through their own struggle every single day.
If you can spare anything at all, it means more than you know.
Thank you for your support.
