Chris Schlenker Medical Help

On March 17th, our dear brother, son, uncle, and friend Chris Schlenker was hit by a freight train in Portland. While we are grateful he is in stable condition, it will be a long road to recovery. Chris had multiple fractures, a collapsed lung, and had to get his right leg amputated. The hospital bill for this will be quite large. Also, Chris is a professional mover and will be out of work. He will need help covering rent, bills, and utilities while he is in the hospital and beyond.

Chris has never met a stranger. His witty humor, bright spirit, and kind heart draws people in and he is a friend to all. Chris is Chinese and Pilipino American, originally hailing from Temecula, California. His current home is in Portland, Oregon where he met his partner Jillian and many close friends that are his chosen family.
