Chris Robison’s Cancer Treatments

Hello friends and family, This is Ginger, Chris’ sister. Many of you recently got the news that Chris has been diagnosed with oral cancer. It has spread to a few lymph nodes and to his jaw. He is currently having a feeding tube placed so he can get the nourishment and strength he needs to have surgery this April to remove part of his tongue, lymph nodes, and reconstruct the tongue. After that, he will need radiation treatments and possibly chemotherapy. He is unable to work and his disability has not kicked in yet. His insurance is a big IF right now and Mom is dealing with his employer, health insurance and disability claim. Every test has huge co- payments. There are traveling expenses to LA Kaiser. His rent is due. Etc. We are not sure how long he will need treatment but surgery gives him the best fighting chance.
