Chris Raymond

Our dear friend Chris has gone to be with God. We are devastated that our time with him was so short, but are all grateful to have known him and call him our friend. Chris had a great sense of humor and an even greater heart. Despite his tough exterior, Chris was one of the most loving and caring people you could ever know.

Anyone who knew him, knew his love for his son, Cruz. Even looking at Cruz is like looking at a mini Chris. And Chris’s love for Mary was undeniable! He always checked on her to make sure she was taking her meds on time and it was apparent, even tattooing her name on his ring finger. Mary and Cruz were “the apples in his eyes” and was a proud husband and father. It is unimaginable what Cruz, Mary and Chris’s mom Debbie are going through having lost such an integral part of their daily lives and a huge part of their hearts.

Now, in Chris’s absence, we want to take care of his family, as he would have wanted us to do. Cruz and Mary have a long road ahead of them without their rock. We are asking that anyone who is able to help, please help Mary and Cruz get through the short-term concern of medical bills, funeral costs and the holidays, and also the long-term costs of monthly expenses, sports, and raising a little boy. Mary has been an incredible support system to so many people, I’m hoping we all can return the favor ten fold in her ultimate time of need.
