I'm David Benzer, Founder of the Strike Out Fear Foundation, and I'm raising money for my dear friend Chris Ramirez and his family. Two weeks ago the family's apartment was destroyed by a fire and they lost everything. Chris and I first met when he was diagnosed with brain cancer and was a guest of the San Francisco Giants. We supported him through the Strike Out Fear Foundation as he underwent chemo and radiation and three subsequent surgeries. He miraculously survived. While undergoing treatment, Chris was unable to work and it impacted his mother's ability to work as well. After getting back on their feet, they now face this new mountain to climb.
