As many of you know, Chris was diagnosed with stage 2 testicular cancer in July, 2021. Chris promptly had a radical inguinal orchiectomy of his left testicle and since has had several follow up scans. Last month he went back for another routine scan and found that the cancer had spread through his pulmonary track to his abdomen and several lymph nodes. His current diagnosis is stage 2 seminoma and will begin treatment tomorrow-May 4, 2022. His treatment will consist of three, five day rounds of radiation to his abdomen. Weeks of radiation can lead to substantial fatigue and localized irritation/burns. Chris is a single dad to our beloved Penelope and works full time as the head chef at "The Fitzroy" in downtown Charlottesville. When our loved ones fall victim to cancer, it's difficult to know how to help. If we can help Chris with the financial burdens of his outstanding medical bills from his past surgery, the many medical bills to come and the possibility of missed work due to the side effects of treatment--this could substantially lighten the blow of everything Chris has lying ahead.
