Chris Pittman's fund

It's difficult even typing this because then.... it becomes real. My brother Chris Pittman is a joy to be around. Not only is he the life of the party but he would give the shirt off his back just to help someone in need. He blesses everyone with his infectious laughter and has the biggest heart that anyone could imagine.
On April 2nd, 2020..... he lost his life due to Covid-19, leaving behind a young son and a loving sister. My most fondest memory of my brother was when I had a disrespectful and deranged roommate. I had to call the cops twice in one weekend and naturally they did nothing. He called me the day after while I was on my way to work and asked how I was doing. I broke down in tears and he knew I rarely cry. He told me that he'd call me back. After work, I spent the night at a friend's house. He called me the next day and told me that he was around the corner from wherever I was at. He had flown from Brooklyn, NY to Michigan to make sure I was safe and help me out of my situation. He was always there for me. It breaks my heart knowing that we were unable to say goodbye and say that we loved him. I will forever miss him.
However, I know he will never stop watching over us and that he will always be in our hearts. With all the hearts he touched, I hope that we can all come together and give back to his son David. Luckily, he is blessed with a very loving and attentive mother but it truly takes a village to raise a child. I know my brother would want me to do everything in my power to make sure my nephew has a good life and that is what I intend to do!
Most of the funds of this account will go towards his son's care. While the rest will go towards travel to and from NY and handling Chris' estate. With his passing being so abrupt there are quite a few expenses that have accrued. Once, I'm able to handle his estate appropriately I should be able to put funds away for David's college or into a trust for him. I just need some help getting there.
Anything helps.
Thank you,
Amber
