Chris Pickens Family

It is with a heavy heart that after battling covid-19 Chris passed away on Saturday September 4th.

Chris was a graduate of Auburn University where he majored in Finance. He was a beloved team member & employee of Avadian Credit Union where he served as a consumer lending underwriter.

Chris loved sports. He loved Auburn football & he loved coaching little league baseball. Chris coached at the local community baseball park & enjoyed spending time with the boys. He will be remembered as Coach Chris who always knew when to give the bunt signal to his players. He was soft spoken & always smiling. He was the truest example of a “gentleman” .

Chris was (as everyone says) the nicest guy you’ll ever meet. He was a devoted husband to his wife of 22 years, Georgiann & an amazing father to their 2 sons, Camden & Brenden. His family meant the world to him.
