Chris Nokes passed away peacefully at his home April 21, after a hard fought battle with nonsmoker non small cell lung cancer.
Chris loved to spend his time outdoors hunting, fishing, and taking part in sports of all kinds.
He dedicated his life to coaching youth sports, took pride in opening his heart for children in foster care, and was a strong supporter of youth hunting and fishing.
Because of his passion for these things, a memorial has been set up in Chris's name to provide support for kids to take part in sports, hunting, fishing, and other experiences. Chris's family is so thankful for the community's support over the past year.
