Hello, dear family and friends,

I'm reaching out with a heartfelt request for help for someone we all care deeply about—Chris. Recently, Chris was diagnosed with Lou Gehrig's disease (ALS), a progressive and incurable condition that severely impacts the nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord. As his condition progresses, Chris’s ability to move and function normally will continue to decline, and right now, he urgently needs a special wheelchair to maintain as much independence and quality of life as possible.

The cost of this wheelchair is $36,000, and while his insurance will cover $30,000, there is still a gap of $6,000 that needs to be filled. Beyond that, Chris’s medical and living expenses continue to rise, and his mother, who is 83, is his primary caregiver. The financial strain is significant, and they could really use our support.

I am hopeful that we can raise not just the $6,000 for the wheelchair, but an additional $9,000 to help cover living and medical costs, bringing the total goal to $15,000.

Chris has always been there for others, offering his kindness, support, and generosity. Now, it's our turn to show him the same love and support.
