Chris Moore Memorial
The Chris Moore Memorial Fund will provide short term help for a surviving family and long term hope for people in recovery.
Chris Moore, 29, of Ankeny, formerly of Florida, passed away Feb. 7th, 2020. Visitation will be held on Saturday, Feb. 15th, from 3-4pm at First Family Church, 317 SE Magazine Rd, Ankeny. Memorial services will
follow at 4pm. A meeting of remembrance will be held at Harbor of Hope, 3650 Cottage Grove Ave, Des Moines, at 5:30pm and all are welcome.
Chris found great value in helping others meet their life challenges, recover, and strengthen their faith. Family and friends benefitted from his amazing generosity of spirit.
With the loss of Chris, his family now faces the burden of funeral and burial costs, but also day to day expenses made all the more difficult to meet during this time of grief and pain.
Through the Chris Moore Memorial Fund donations can be made to benefit the family (linked through an account at Veridian Credit Union which is also open for direct contributions) and also to benefit those who are recovering from substance use issues with the assistance of Harbor of Hope in Des Moines.
