Hey everyone I will just get right too it, we received news this week that my mom Chris has been diagnosed with an extremely rare type of cancer called Signet Cell Colon Cancer which is now stage 4. She had surgery two weeks ago to remove a part of her stomach lining and 6” of her small intestine where she had a 90% blockage. Then this week at her first oncology appointment the oncologist did not have good news and the whole experience was not a good one for her. He told her that she has about 6 months to live if she chooses not to do chemo and if she did choose chemo maybe 1 to 2 years with intense treatments but that the cancer would ultimately win. We did a lot of praying before and after that and we have always considered alternative treatments as options. In our research this morning we discovered CHIPSA Hospital in Mexico which combines the Gerson therapy with immunotherapy and low grade chemo to destroy the cancer. Everything went really well for her today with her appointment and we feel good that she has a plan and way to beat this crappy cancer!! The plan is for her to head to CHIPSA Monday or Thursday of next week as we don't have a lot of time to waste! Now comes the hard part. Those of you who know my mom know that she would do anything for you, she has helped us financially more than once and is a giver. She raised us as a single mom and worked very hard to give us a good life and ran a successful business for many years to make sure Jeremy and I had a good life growing up. Now it’s her time to relax and let us help her.  CHIPSA is not covered at all by insurance and the treatments while nowhere near the cost of chemo are still expensive. So I am asking that you would pray and consider helping my mom pay for this treatment and help eliminate the worry of finances for her so she can focus on beating this cancer. Anything that you can give will be a huge blessing. If you cant give we just ask that you pray that God will heal her. We know that God is in control and he’s got this.
