Chris Mathieson was a beloved colleague and friend. He was a doting father to his daughter, Haley. She was his universe, and he treated her friends like family, too. He spent his time coaching her soccer teams and traveling to support her activities.  

An avid soccer player, Chris gave back to his community through mentoring, motivating and coaching countless kids through the years. 

Chris left a great legacy of engineering expertise, throughout his 10-year tenure at Da-Lite, a brand of Legrand | AV. He designed many innovative products that contributed to our long success as well as the success of our customers. His greatest contributions, however, can’t be monetized, rather it was his personality – a positive attitude, his warm smile, and the concern and compassion he had towards his fellow co-workers. 

His Da-Lite family would like to provide funding for a local celebration of life being planned by the family and to be announced at a later date. Additionally, we’d like to provide immediate access to funds for extraneous and/or unexpected expenses associated with Haley’s first year of college.
