Chris Mario Griffiths Funeral Fund

Hello everyone, I'm Melissa Griffiths (Chris' older sister).  Our mother (Barbara Griffiths), our older sister (Gail Clarke), our older brother (Andrew Griffiths), our sister (Kewanna Donaldson), and myself appreciate the support we've received thus far in raising funds for Christopher's memorial service.  As some of you may know, Chris resided with me in Virginia for the past 8 months where he worked most recently at a job he was excited about (Mission BBQ).  He loved what he did, he loved cooking, he loved learning about cooking, and most of all he loved eating (lol). 

For anyone who was fortunate to know or even meet Chris you would know how incredibly big his heart was.  He was a dreamer who had aspirations toward entrepreneurship and travel.  He made friends everywhere he went and people were drawn to his amazing smile.  He was a good man; he was a caring and loyal man; he was the most thoughtful son, brother, cousin, grandson, nephew and friend anyone could ask for.   And boy when he worked he worked - he was always dedicated to whatever job he had.  Showing up early, working extra hours, and going above and beyond to learn quickly and put a good foot forward.

He was a loyal friend, loved to laugh, and cheer people up.  He also remembered everyone's birthday and loved to help them celebrate!    If you were down he was a shoulder to cry on, if you were hurt or upset he was an ear to vent to, if you were stuck or felt confused he was an adviser.   But either way he  never let anyone feel alone. 

To say Chris was taken from us too soon is an understatement.  There isn't a day that goes by that he won't be remembered and missed.

His family asks for your support in helping lay him to rest in grace.  100% of the money raised will go towards transporting Chris back home (from VA to CT) and to cover his funeral related expenses (memorial and burial).
