On July 28th Chris Lottie passed away in his sleep at the age of 41. His passing was unexpected and has been devastating for his wife, family, and friends. There is now a gigantic hole in the universe where he once walked. Chris was loved and respected by many. He managed to make friends wherever he went and was always ready to help a friend in need. He was a bright, genuine soul and a comedian at heart. He was an amazing chef, huge Cowboys fan, rooted for the SF Giants, and loved hunting and fishing. He supported our local fire departments and helped evacuate friends and strangers during the 2020 and 2021 fires.

On June 25th, he married the love of his life, Mackenzie Dorn. They met in June of 2019, and after only a month of dating, he knew he had met the woman he would hold in his heart and soul forever. They had dreams and plans for their life together; they wanted to travel, build their dream home, and have children. They always supported each other's goals and aspirations that they knew they could achieve together. They were only married for 33 days before he passed away.

A Go Fund Me has been created to help cover the cost of Chris’ Celebration of life and the ongoing support for Mackenzie as she navigates these unbelievable and unimaginable times. Mackenzie has been left with a financial burden in the wake of Chris’ passing.
