If you know Chris Lauzon, you know he’s the guy who always has the numbers handled. Whether he was running his accounting business or helping to keep the local library’s books in order, Chris has spent his life making sure things add up for everyone else.

But beyond the spreadsheets and the community service, Chris is defined by three things: his love for a good round of golf, his kind words at the poker table, and, most importantly, his role as the best dad we’ve ever met.

To Chris, nothing matters more than his wife, Christine, and their two incredible kids, Lorelai and Sebastian.

The Hard News

Recently, Chris received devastating news. He has been diagnosed with Stage 4 liver cancer. The prognosis is difficult, and the timeline we have left with him is much shorter than any of us are ready for.

Why We Are Here

Chris has spent his life providing for his family and helping others. Now, he is facing the hardest reality a father can face: knowing he won't be there to see his children grow up. Because of the nature of this diagnosis, the family is facing a future without life insurance and with the mounting costs of end-of-life care and funeral expenses.
