Hello, my name is Brett Hofer, and I am raising funds for Chris Kules and his beloved fiancée, Teresa Kane, who is left behind to mourn his loss. The appropriations of funds will be managed by a select group of close friends to ensure every penny is spent aligned with the cause and best interests in mind.

Chris had an unforgettable personality and soul that was truly one-of-a-kind. His infectious energy would light up any room he entered, and his talent as a singer and keyboardist made him one of the most gifted Karaoke KJs in all of Florida. Despite facing numerous challenges throughout his life, Chris remained deeply grateful for everyone in his life and never let his struggles dampen his spirit while running his shows. He radiated pure fun, laughter, and energy, and his presence brought joy to thousands of people over the years.

As someone who had the privilege of knowing Chris for over five years, I can't even begin to express how much I will miss him. He was a troubled friend with an obsession to be around people creating that Cheers like atmosphere. Despite all the hardships he faced, emotionally and physically he never let it affect his shows. Chris truly gave his all to the people around him, and his legacy will live on in the countless memories he helped create.

Support is desperately needed now more than ever. After enduring a year and a half of battling infections in the hospital, losing his lower leg, and facing massive financial pressures, both Chris and Teresa were left in dire financial ruin. Teresa spent almost a year and a half by Chris's side in the hospital, watching him struggle and fighting to keep up with the mounting bills and expenses. Basic human needs and utilities were out of reach, and bills were left unpaid, leading to even more financial strain where the final outcome was Chris's death.

Now, in addition to dealing with the grief of losing Chris, Teresa is left to handle the overwhelming financial burden on her own. She is trying to pull together a memorial service for Chris and desperately needs our help to get her life back on track. The day that I am starting this GoFundMe happens to be Chris's birthday, and it is a fitting tribute to honor him by coming together as a community to support his fiancée in her time of need.

While a few of us have been fortunate enough to help financially over these times, this situation requires a community effort.
