Donation protected
Christopher (Chris) Komar of Woodstock, GA passed away peacefully and unexpectedly in his sleep on April 14, 2020. He was preceded in death by his Father, James (Jim) Komar, his wife Amy Komar and son Kyle Howard. He was survived by his daughter Emily Komar, Mother L. Dianne Komar, and siblings Stephanie Hungerford, Amy West, Jonathan Komar, Bart Komar and Adelaide Moreno. Born in Cleveland, OH to James (Jim) and L. Dianne Komar and raised in Clearwater, FL where he spent most of his days. Over the past 10 years Chris lived and worked in various cities in Georgia such as Gainesville, Alpharetta, Brookhaven, Canton, Milton, Woodstock and more.
Chris was more than a great person known most for his happy, gentle, humble and kind spirit. He loved working with people, put others above himself and touched the lives of everyone who knew him. Throughout his career in hospitality and restaurants, Chris was a loyal and dedicated favorite of his customers, employees, owners, management and co-workers.
As you can imagine, the family is devastated and heartbroken. Unfortunately, Chris did not have life insurance. In lieu of flowers, the family has set up this account in hopes to help relieve the cost of his final expenses. Any remaining amount will be given to his daughter, Emily.
We want to thank you all for your support during this difficult time. We all loved him and we will miss him deeply. Chris often told stories of how happy he was and how much he loved his friends, coworkers and family. We thank you all for being a part of his life and giving him this happiness.
A memorial service will be planned at a later date.
