In Memory of Chris Koerner

It is with deep sorrow that I share that Chris Koerner passed away suddenly this past Thursday, December 28th, after years of battling various health issues. We are fundraising to cover funeral expenses on behalf of his fiancé and the love of his life, Ana Castro.

Over 10 years ago, Chris suffered a work-related injury leading to various medical procedures and health complications that left him unable to work. Despite the countless surgeries and endless pain he went through, Chris always found it within himself to reach out and help others. He lived life to the fullest and was always singing, dancing, cracking jokes, and making friends everywhere he went, even during the hardest moments of his life. We hope to honor his spirit by easing the financial burden for Ana, who dedicated her life to giving Chris the best quality of life since his injury.

Chris will be viewed at Torregrossa Funeral Home in Dyker Heights, Brooklyn on Thursday, January 4th from 3-8 PM. We will be saying goodbye at Greenwood Cemetery Chapel at 11 AM on Friday, January 5th. May he rest in peace and be surrounded by God, the angels in heaven, and be reunited once again with his mother, brothers, family, and friends in his new home.
