On May 27, flooding in the Roanoke area devasted the home of Chris Kocher. Chris is a well-known animal rescue volunteer in the area, whose first priority became saving two litters of foster kittens plus other foster pets that she had in her care, in addition to her own adopted rescue pets. Anyone who has met her knows she continually gives selflessly to animals in need, in many ways, including opening her heart, home, and pocketbook to do whatever is necessary.
Now that the floods waters have receded, she has a massive clean-up ahead. The furnace, AC unit, and hot water tank have all been destroyed, along with clothing, appliances, electronics, and irreplaceable family photo albums and beloved heirlooms. 
As you can imagine, the clean-up work to do is immense. Thankfully, volunteers are helping her with some of this. Your donation can help with some of the financial costs of the recovery process.
