Two of my close friends recently received some heartbreaking news about one of their pups. At first, they thought it was just a strained CCL and put her on medication for a month. But after more tests, they learned it was actually bone cancer. Without surgery, she would’ve only had a few months left. Thankfully, the surgery went well, and it’s given her more time hopefully up to a year or more but the reality is, the fight isn’t over. Their dogs are truly like their children, and of course they’re doing everything possible to give her the best care. That also comes with a lot of unexpected vet bills.
