Many of you may know Chris Kenny personally, others may just know of her and for those of you who have yet to meet her, here is a bit of her story. 
With her bluesy, soulful stylings, Chris Kenny has entertained many and inspired others with her passionate, tenacious character and her fun-loving, adventurous nature!
For years she has brought joy to ourlittle music hub of Port Credit, Ontario, also known as the "Jewel of Mississauga". A poweful force onstage overshadows her softer, more vunerable side...rescuing homeless animals and rising to lend her time and talents to help others in need!
Unfortunately, she is the one in need now! What originally believed to have been a throat infection has now been determined to be something more sinister, oral cancer.  Facing the reality of prolonged medical care, prescription drugs, rehabilitation therapy along with the costs of living..rent, food etc. will be an immense financial burden especially since her voice was her sole means of income.
She is hospital in Kingston Ontario, a 4 1/2 hour drive from our community but closer to her only daughter who lives 45 mins away in a small town. 
We love her dearly and with utmost urgency we ask that you would give any amount that you can to a person who so generously has given her voice to us and so many others!
