Chris keep fighting to survive

Hello, my name Kayla Gaito, and I am Chris Gaito's little sister. About 3 weeks ago, my brother was found unresponsive by Oceanside Police Department in California and he had a very high fever and seemed to be sickly. Upon his arrival to the Hospital, he had been confirmed for carrying the disease Tuberculosis Meningitis of the brain, and quickly started showing signs that were absolutely heartbreaking as our family and friends learned how seriously this was affecting him. If you ever met Chris, then you would realize soon after meeting him that no matter what he was struggling with internally he kept one foot in front of the other and kept on marching on. This situation has completely immobilized him, he is for the most part unresponsive to stimuli and hasn't shown much signs of improvement yet. We are not giving up on Chris and know how much of a strong fighter he is. There are concerns for whether he will make it out of this disease without considerable brain damage, or at all realistically. I am making this for any financial burden this places on my brother after hopefully healing at some point - or to help my mother with travel expenses to be with him in this time and possibly have him come out to a hospital here where my mother and I live in South Carolina to make it easier on us to be with him. Anything at all is a blessing. We are all struggling and asking for help is inevitable so. God bless, hold your loved ones close.
