I’m Chris Ingram, European Rally Champion 2019
In 2019 I became the first British driver in 52 years to win the FIA European Rally Championship, thanks to 500 people who supported me via my GoFundMe crowdfunding campaign to reach the final. The names of the 500 people were displayed on my rally car and those supporters joined me becoming part of Motorsport history.

I’m approaching you to ask for your generous support once more to help me win World Rally Championship glory.

In return you will feel part of the team
As a thank you for your support, you will be able to access exclusive rally content and have your name displayed on the car throughout the season in WRC from Rally Croatia onwards.

In addition, you'll be entered into a free draw with the chance of receiving the following unique prizes:

+ A ride with me in a WRC2 car on a proper rally stage (x5)
+ VIP tickets to a WRC event (x10)
+ Rally Warrior merchandise (x50).

Please leave your email address when leaving a donation so we can contact you. If you have already donated anonymously, or intend to, and would like to be included in the draw please send your email address to [email redacted]

A draw will be held on (date to be confirmed after Monte Carlo).

Since my 2019 victory, the pandemic halted my progress
Soon after becoming European Rally Champion and receiving my FIA trophy at the Paris Awards ceremony alongside Lewis Hamilton, the covid pandemic hit the world affecting millions. Personally, it scuppered my chances of taking the next step into the World Rally Championship, and my career and dreams stopped dead in their tracks.

The years since the pandemic have been tough
I struggled with mental health and hit rock bottom. I didn’t compete for 18 months after becoming European Champion but I would not give up. I finally raised some funding and I jumped in at the deep end in the World Rally Championship (WRC2) with little practice, making immense progress in the 2022 season. I have also raised thousands of pounds for mental health charities such as HUMEN. And when I'm able to, I will help more people suffering from lonely and misunderstood mental illnesses.

I have rediscovered a huge amount of self-belief and speed
My performances last season prove that. And the sport’s biggest names have taken notice. Now it’s time for me to make it count. With your support, I know I can win my first WRC class title in the forthcoming FIA World Rally Championship.

I aim to make my season debut at the prestigious Monte-Carlo round of the WRC (starting on the 19th of January) with the same team, Toksport and Craig Drew, and same car, with which I battled consistently as the leading privateer, taking the fight to the manufacturer-backed drivers in 2022.

I am fully focused on showing my full potential in Monte-Carlo – one of the jewels in the WRC crown – and from there build a solid title push in 2023.

The support I’ve received has been the reason for my past success.
My loyal supporters, many of whom contributed to my 2019 ERC crowdfunding and helped me clinch the European title, have urged me on social media to start a new WRC crowdfunding campaign.

I have worked tirelessly to raise further funding to let me compete throughout 2023. However, due to the current economic climate in the UK, it has been extremely difficult to find new brand partners and one of my main partners has had to drop out, despite the progress made in 2022 and World Rally Championship glory being within touching distance.

I now feel I have exhausted every option so have decided to launch this new campaign ahead of Rallye Monte Carlo. I am calling on you to join the Rally Warrior army and support my team on this mission. Every penny of your support will be used towards WRC competition. This campaign will run throughout the WRC 2023 season.

If you can help, I’d be so grateful and honoured to bring you along for the ride!

Thank you

Chris Ingram
