It’s hard to comprehend what can’t be understood. The magnitude of losing Chris Hurlbut at the age of 47, a presence that lightened up every room that he ever entered. A presence that brought smiles and laughter to every person encountered. The most common feeling of those who loved him is “No Words” – impossible to express the feeling of this loss, he was loved by countless people and he loved even more. His amazing wife Yan, beautiful children Sebastian and Tegan, his mother Claudia and big brother Andrew couldn’t be more thankful for the outreach. Chris created countless friendships, the word friend doesn’t feel strong enough to describe what he had, what he created.  Donations and proceeds will go to the kids, their education or life milestones where this may help even in the slightest.  Yan and family also plan on giving back to the local Redding community that has meant so much to them, a portion of these proceeds will be directed to the Redding Boys & Girls Club and/or other similar (local) organizations.  Yan has not asked for this but many have asked how they can help and this is one way.
